Holidays
Holidays for me has a mixture of feelings it's the time of year that you miss the ones you lost but it is also a time to celebrate with your friends and loved ones. My favorite part of the holidays is the decorations and gift giving. I love making a project and have it turn out, I am my own worst critic as I'm sure alot of people are. My husband has watched me in the past do a project, finish it, and then turn around and take it all apart because I didn't like the result. When I'm satisfied with my project I love to give it away, it is one of those things that make me feel good.
Valentine's Day..........
That one day of the year set aside for romance although it wouldn't hurt for people to be kinder to each other all the time. When my husband and I celebrated our first Valentine's Day as a married couple in our new house he made it really special. The best thing was we really didn't have much money so his gift came from his heart. He took a big and I mean big cardboard box and cut it into the shape of a heart. Put I love you on it in BIG letters and stuck it onto the front of the house. Well when I came home I didn't realize it but my neighbours are ALL watching me trying to remove it from the front of the house. My face I'm sure was red but you know I will always remember it. Even though I no longer have that cardboard heart it still gives me that happy feeling whenever I think of it.
I Love You. . . . . .This is a sweet and inexpensive way to express how you feel to someone special. It's a gift basket made with love in mind. In this particular case I made this basket for my son and husband. When I gave this to my son he couldn't wait to tear it apart and get at all the goodies inside. My husband also enjoyed all the candy, he has a big sweet tooth.
